The Denavolo winery is managed by Giulio Armani, the winemaker for the highly regarded property, La Stoppa. Giulio owns 3 hectares of grapes near Travo, province of Piacenza where he has plantings of  Malvasia di Candia, Marsanne, Ortrugo, Trebbiano and other local grapes. Focusing on Orange wines, Giulio produces wines with loads of character and balance.

The Denavolo Dinavolino is made from a blend of Malvasia di Candia, Marsanne, Ortrugo, plus a small percentage of unnamed local varieties. The fermentation was spontaneous without temperature controls. It was macerated on the skins for 6 months and aged for a total of 8 months in stainless steel tanks.
