Ancient Piedmont — Vinchio Vaglio with Tessa Donnadieu — November 12 — Edmonton

In 1959, 19 growers from the hilltop villages of Vinchio and Vaglio Serra joined forces to create a winery rooted in community and a shared love of Piemonte. Today, Vinchio Vaglio continues to champion the region’s old vines and native grape varieties, preserving a heritage that reaches well beyond its most famous wines.

Join Tessa Donnadieu of Vinchio Vaglio for a guided tasting of seven wines celebrating Piemonte’s remarkable diversity. We’ll explore Freisa, a close relative of Nebbiolo; the lesser-known Albarossa; and Cortese, alongside Nebbiolo from Barolo. It’s a chance to discover new favourites, revisit a classic and hear the stories behind the wines.
