Although best known for their extraordinary Monemvasia-Malvasia dessert wine, this domaine also produces a range of dry wines made from local and international grape varieties. The Voltes White is made from a blend of Roditis and Moschofilero. The name of the wine comes from the pathway that leads to the upper part of the town of Monemvasia. The Voltes White is a clear example of how Greek white wines can be very refreshing without being austere or dull. Light green-yellow in hue, on the nose it has aromas of freshly sliced green apple, squeezed lemon, pink grapefruit, and honeydew. Light in body, on the palate there is crisp acidity and a saline finish.
