Birgit Braunstein’s family has been growing vines for 400 years. She farms 22 hectares in the Burgenland, near the shores of the Neusiedl lake, where she grows a mix of Austrian and international varietals, following biodynamic principles. In the winery Birgit is aided by  Adriana Gonzalez. All the wines are naturally fermented and bottled unfined and unfiltered with small sulphur additions.

The Birgit Braunstein Rosé is made from a blend of Zweigelt and Blaufränkisch. It was vinified with natural yeasts and aged for 6 months on fine lees in stainless steel tanks.
