A bitter-sweet digestive, Averna Amaro is made from a selection of herbs, dried flowers, spices, and liquorice. Created by the monks of Sant Spirito Abbey in Caltanisseta for Salvatore Averna in 1868, Averna Amaro was the first licensed spirit in Sicily.
