Underwood has gained a reputation for producing solid, reliable Oregon wines at a very reasonable price. They aren’t claiming that this will rival the great wines of Burgundy in terms of complexity and ageability – in their words this Pinot Noir “works hard for the working people”. The Wine Enthusiast Magazine says that “Underwood is fast becoming one of Oregon’s best values in Pinot Noir”. This is bright and fresh with notes of red fruit, violets, plum and spice.
