Maloof Wines is a husband-and-wife winery team based in Forest Grove,  Oregon. Originally based in Philadelphia, Bee and Ross Maloof moved to Oregon in 2017. Previously employed as a sommelier, Ross was first introduced to winemaking in 2015 when he worked the harvest at Day Wines in Dundee. The following year he decided to come back with his then-fiancée Bee Selman, a materials engineer. Today the couple bottle a small amount of wines produced naturally.

“This is a brand new cuvee for us, however in a way, we have been honing in on this style for quite some time. We have made skin contact Pinot Gris for a few years now for the PJs Cuvee, as well as our WV Pinot Gris kegs. As we came to know each site’s capabilities for skin maceration, we found that the Johan vineyard fruit was perfectly built for the crunchier, more tannic light red we were looking for, and deserved to stand out on its own.” — Ross and Bee Maloof, Maloof Wines
