This muscular vintage heaves its weight in a focussed straight line and delivers strong essences of sour cherry, lightly roasted sweet beets, raspberries and crumbled clay-loam soil. The marked tannin structure effortlessly carries the abundant array of flavours and provides a positive, firm stance for the wine. An energetic, bright acidity is interlaced through- out and makes this Pinot Meunier the perfect wine for food pairing. It is delicious now as a “brawler”; how- ever, more time in the bottle will allow this wine to fully settle into its internal grace.”
