Friends Jack Lewens and Bruno di Conciliis form the duo behind Vigneti Tardis, a project in Campania, Italy. They own 3.6 hectares of vineyards planted in the region with soils dominated by limestone, and lease other vineyards, all farmed organically and biodynamically without any irrigation. Jack and Bruno focus on grape varieties that are indigenous to the area, like Fiano, Malvasia, Aglianico and Aglionicone, a forgotten grape variety that they produce a delicious varietal wine with. In the winery, they use a hands-off approach except for a small dose of sulphur at bottling.

Compared to the typical wines produced in Campania, that are often big and powerful, the wines by Vigneti Tardis are much more delicate and elegant, resulting from limited extraction and old oak. Jack and Bruno have created a line of seven wines named after the days of the week in Italian, so there is a bottle to open every night.

The 'Mercoledi' is made from Fiano, and was fully vinified and aged in stainless steel tank.
