When you think of Alsatian wine, you think of Trimbach! Stretching across three centuries and 13 generations, Maison Trimbach is the epitome of traditional French winemaking. The Ribeauvillé based winery is currently led by skilled winemaker Pierre Trimbach. Under his direction the time honored Trimbach wine making regimen has lived on, producing wines of purity and longevity. Key to his success are vineyard holdings in Ribeauville, Hunawihr, Bergheim, Rorschwihr, Riquewihr and Mittlewihr.

Representing a myriad of Alsatian terroirs, The 390ème Anniversaire Riesling is a special wine created in tribute to the talented growers who have partnered with Maison Trimbach for decades. Vinified to dryness, the wine was aged in neutral oak casks. Malolactic fermentation was avoided to retain Rieslings’ naturally crunchy acidity. Held at the winery 4 years prior to release, it already possesses developed complexity. Golden yellow in color with greenish inflections, the nose has delicate aromas of citrus blossom, lime leaf, white peach and apricot. On the palate limpid citrus flavours and clear minerality carry into a lingering dry finish. A fine pairing for roasted white meats and spicy dishes.
