Thomas is a tiny Pinot Noir producer in Oregon. Even some of the most hardcore Pinot Noir fans  have never heard of this estate, but for those who know the wines, owner/winemaker John Thomas is considered something of a genius. Thomas only makes one wine…a 100% Pinot Noir from his tiny 4 acre, dry farmed vineyard in the Dundee Hills. Only around 375 cases are produced each year and it is almost all sold direct to their mailing list The wine is always beautifully pure, fresh and structured…a cross between new world and old world (somewhat similar to great Pommard or Vosne-Romanee). This is a wine that will reward patience and is well worth cellaring 5 to 10 years.
