Andreas Engelmann is the proprietor/viticulturist/winemaker of Schlossgut Ebringen.  He draws on many years of experience creating wonderfully thought-provoking wine in the Markgräflerland.   Beyond his belief in organic viticulture, Andreas also champions wild fermentations, ageing on lees in small, mostly older oak barrels, and time in bottle before release.  He creates richly flavoured, sumptuously textured wines that show off why his vineyard was given the name Sommerberg – the ‘Summer Mountain”. 

His sparkling wines are richly textured and thought provoking in such a way that you are called back for a second and third sip. Schlossgut Ebringen Blanc de Blancs is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc, fermented in small oak barrel before undergoing secondary fermentation. The wine is opulent with notes of almond croissant and delicate white blossoms.
