Lesser known than the region’s delicate and crisp rosé wines, Provence is home to some dazzling white wines. This supple blend from Domaine Richeaume combines an elegant and floral nose with a generous and savoury body. The cuvée brings together 50% Rolle and 25% each of Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc. The varieties are fermented and aged in barrels prior to blending. Winemaker Sylvain Hoesch manages this 65-hectare estate that was purchased by his parents in 1972. Showing white flowers and beeswax on the nose, the palate has rich flavours of nectarines, lemon zest, and toasted almonds.
