{{ selectedPlan.description }}
Though the history of estate can be traced back 300 years, the most recent cultivation of grapevines at Casa Gran was started by Manuela Galbis in the 1960’s. The estate is located in the Les Alcusses, a Unesco protected valley in the foothills of the La Bastida mountain. The vineyards are separated into three separate plots: Casa Gran, Casa Benasal, and Altet de la Ampolla.
"Pago Casa Gran has existed as a wine estate for over 500 years. In that time they have cultivated a very pure expression of Garnacha Tintorera and other indigenous varietals. This includes this delightfully crushable pink! A perfectly pale, Provence style rosé of Monastrell and Syrah. Big berry notes, a touch of residual sugar with lovely herbal hints as well. Organically farmed, naturally fermented with very low additions of sulphur at bottling. Less than 30 ppm! All of this in a wine priced to drink every single day!" - Andrew Stewart, Vino al Vino
