Description
Based just outside of Los Angeles in Westlake village, winemaker Dusty Nabor bottles wines made from grapes harvested from vineyards in Paso Robles, Santa Ynez and the Santa Rita Hills. Born into a Bay Area steelworking family, Dusty started small, producing wines out of his home. Enlisting the help of family friends with vineyards in Paso Robles, he was able to scale up his production. Today he sources his fruit from a selection of small growers. The vast majority of the wines are sold via Dusty’s mailing list.
The NSO (No Special Occasion) line of wines were created to offer a style of wine that is terroir specific and accessible.
From the winery – “50% whole cluster Sta Rita Hills Pinot Noir from a blend of 667 and Pommard clone. Brought up in 50% new François Frères French Oak. Classic SRH cherry Jolly Rancher aromas give way to a rustic perfume and a wet forest floor. The palette is acid driven with a light, nimble body and long acid finish.”
