Mas Martinet Menut

Mas Martinet is owned by one of the pioneers of Priorat, José Luis Perez. Founded in 1989, the property has around 10 hectares of vineyards in the heart of the region. Today José’s daughter Sara heads up the winemaking team. The vines are farmed according to organic and biodynamic principles.
This full bodied and juicy red wine is made from a blend of 40% Grenache, 20% Carignan, 30% Syrah, and 10% Merlot harvested from vines planted to poor slate soils (“licorella”). The grapes were fermented with natural yeasts in concrete tanks and aged in large foudres for 14-18 months
