“Domaine des Marnes Blanche was started by Pauline & Géraud Fromont when they were in their early twenties. Barely out of winemaking school, the couple purchased land in Cesancey, a town in the Southern Jura. Named after the area’s most illustrious soil type, they made a wide variety of styles: from ouillé Chardonnay’s to oxidative Savagnins, and lithe reds from autochthonous varieties”

“This cuvée is a blend of Savagnin, Chardonnay, and Poulsard grown on red and brown marl in Sainte Agnès. The wines are between 25 and 50 years old. The grapes are dried on straw mats before the concentrated juice is gently pressed into barrel for fermentation. After six years in barrel, the wine is racked and bottled. 120g/l RS” – Juice Imports
