Before Bertrand and Vincent took control of the winery, the Marchesseau family sold their grapes in bulk to large wine firms. This ended in 2001 when the brothers decided to vinify the grapes harvested from their vineyards in Bourgueil, Chinon, and St Nicolas de Bourgueil. Altogether, they own 22 hectares of vineyards. Bertrand focuses on work in the vineyard and in the wine cellar, while Vincent focuses on wine sales. The vineyards are planted primarily to Cabernet Franc and are farmed according to organic principles.
