Just in case you’re wondering, the “h” in “Malbech” is not a typo. In Italy’s Veneto region, this is an accepted spelling for the variety. There is actually a sizable amount of Malbec planted here. Unlike most Argentinian examples, this Malbec is lighter with soft tannins. Made at the Savian winery from organically grown grapes, this wine shows bright notes of red plums, candied strawberries, and light cocoa spice.
