This is a classic white Bordeaux blend of 80% Sauvignon Blanc, 15% Sémillon, and 5% Muscadelle. Fermented in temperature controlled tanks with select yeasts, it was partially aged in barrel for 3 to 4 months. La Peyrière translates to “stony place”.
Bordeaux Blanc is perfect when you crave white wine that is crisp, but not lacking in fruit or complexity. Lemon green in the glass, this wine has aromas of lime zest, grapefruits, and baked yellow apples. Light bodied, the palate has citrusy flavours and high acidity. The finish is dry and waxy.
