The Krutzler Winery is a family enterprise in the fifth generation. Melanie Krutzler not only cares for her children, Clemens and Lena, but also lends her support to her husband, Reinhold, in any way possible. Even Senior Hermann and his wife Martha are still actively engaged in the business. Located in Southern Burgenland, this fifth generation, 12 hectare family estate produces only reds from mostly Blaufränkisch. The Krutzler family has received many national awards, including Best Red Wine of the Year from Falstaff, as well as international acclaim.
This is how the winery describe this wine – “Proudly carrying the DAC label, it is the archetypical Eisenberg Blaufränkisch with its cherry to sour cherry bouquet, its delicately nuanced structure, and its refreshing acidity.”
