Ken Wright Wine Cellars was established in rural Oregon in 1994. Considered one of America's premier producers of Pinot Noir, Ken got his start in California before making the move to the Willamette Valley in 1985. Making a name for himself at Panther Creek, he started his namesake winery in an old brick building in Carlton before moving to a new winery in 1999. He was a pioneer of single-vineyard Pinot Noir, producing up to a dozen different wines. Although well polished, his wines are capable of spending extended to ageing in the cellar.

The Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is made from grapes harvested from Ken's single vineyard sites. Light bodied with lively aromatics and silky tannins, it has notes of bing cherry, cola, and baking spice.
