The 11 hectare Kamara Estate was created in 2010 by Dimitrios Kioutsoukis. Located in northern Greece near Thessaloniki, the vineyards are farmed without pesticides or insecticides. In the words of Dimitrios – “Nature is the real winemaker, man is her assistant”.

This is how the importer describes the Nimbus Retinitis – “This wine is made exclusively from Assyrtiko grown in silty clay loam. A small amount of pine resin from the Mountains of Evia is added during fermentation. After up to a week on skins, the wine is pressed off into stainless steel for élevage. After a short three month resting period the wine is racked and bottled with minimal sulphur. 13.5% ABV”
