The Kupelwieser wines have an almost Germanic precision to them, but an Italian soul.  The aromas are intense and powerful, the flavours equally defined, with tense, coiled structure underneath. Kupelwieser is known for their Pinot Noir.  It is a harmonious style, with wonderful red berries and black cherry character on top of a velvety structure.
