Escala Humana is the personal project of husband and wife team Ayelén and German Massera. The winemaker for Matias Michelini since 2016, German has been making wine since 2003.

Made from 100% Malbec, the Livverá was spontaneously fermented in concrete egg with roughly two-thirds destemmed grapes. An authentic expression of the varietal, the wine was aged in neutral oak barrels. The intent of the winemaker was to create a style of wine that was fresh and approachable.
