Domaine Nigri Confluence Jurançon Sec

The wines of Jurançon have been celebrated since the middle ages. First identified in the late 14th century, Jurançon has a claim to being the first ever wine appellation. Located in the foothills of the Pyrenees, the climate is strongly influenced by cool mountain winds and the Atlantic Ocean.

The 16 hectare Domaine Nigri was created in 1685 and has been owned and run by the Lacoste family for four generations.

The Confluence Jurançon Sec is made from a blend of hand harvested 80% Gros Manseng, 10% Camaralet, and 10% Lauzet, (only 2 hectares of Lauzet vines exist). It was fermented and aged on the lees 6 months in stainless steel tanks.
