Cos Nero Di Lupo

COS was founded in 1980 by three friends, Giambattista Cilia, Giusto Occhipinti, and Cirino Strano. The initials of their last names form the wineries name. COS found fame largely for their non-interventionist techniques and the use of unlined 440-liter clay amphorae sourced from Spain.
The COS Nero di Lupo is made from 100% Nero d’Avola spontaneously fermented and aged in concrete tanks. Bright ruby in colour, it has notes of cherry, mature plum and licorice.
