Château d’Arlay can claim 1000 years of continuous ownership by the same family. Never sold or abandoned, today the estate consists of 25 hectares planted to Pinot Noir, Trousseau and Poulsard for the reds and Chardonnay and Savagnin for the whites. Arlay’s site is rich in Jurassic soils like Sinemurian, Blue Lias and Gray Marne. Today the winery is managed by Count Alain de Laguiche and his wife Anne.
A classic example of Jura Chardonnay, this wine shows savoury notes of baked yellow apples, marzipan, honeysuckle, dried apricot and almonds.
