Alex Gambal arrived in France in 1993 to work with wine broker Becky Wasserman. Shortly after, he founded “Maison Alex Gambal” in 1997. Maison Gambal owns 12 hectares of vineyards. Compared to the big négociants Maison Alex Gambal is very small. While the big houses produce millions of bottles, Gambal’s output is around 6,000 cases a year. In 2019 the domaine was purchased by Boisset.
