This whiskey was released by The Character of Islay Whisky Company. A Islay single malt, it was created by an undisclosed distillery on the island. Peaty in style, it was aged 10 years in a mixture of bourbon barrels and Spanish oak sherry quarter casks. It was bottled without any additional colouring or chill-filtration. The name of the whisky, Aerolite Lyndsay, is an anagram of the words “ten year old Islay”.
