Mezcal Madness with Esteban Morales of Derrumbes!

We’re excited to welcome a very special guest host for this tasting, Esteban Morales from Derrumbes Mezcal! 

You will be led by Esteban down the path of agave and sotol spirits- starting with an introduction of the different Mexican Distillates and a general understanding of each Denomination of Origin – Esteban will open your horizons to what Mezcal, Raicilla and Sotol can be. 

CEO of Casa Endemica, and founder of La Venenosa, Esteban Morales is passionate in education of agave and sotol spirits. He has a long history of working in the hospitality/service industry, In these restaurants he was able to showcase his creativity with the formation of new concepts, directing and molding teams and educating them and himself in the knowledge of agave spirits. In 2009, Esteban created La Venenosa, and two years later with his partners Sergio (Don Fulano) and Ivan, he created the brand Derrumbes Mezcal. Derrumbes seeks to show to the world the diversity of agave spirits in Mexico. After the formation of these two projects, Esteban launched Sotol la Higuera. All these projects share the single focus in the diffusion of the cultural, historical and social of Mexico through the distillates.
