Teremana Tequila Blanco: Can you smell what the Rock is cooking?

Teremana Tequila Blanco

100% Blue Weber Highlands agave! That is what the Rock has been cooking up in a tiny town in the Jalisco Highlands. Not all celebrity products actually have the goods to back up their claims with, enter Teremana Tequila, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s foray into the world of craft spirits. The Rock (aka the world’s favourite nice guy) has worked long and hard to create a tequila worthy of a true tequila lover. He collaborated with a small family distillery to create a distillery on their grounds especially for Teremana.

The distillery, Destilería Teremana de Agave, is dedicated to well crafted and responsibly sourced tequila, Teremana just feels special. The highland agave is roasted for 3 days in brick ovens before shredding and extracting the juices for fermentation. This traditional technique ensures the bright, citrusy flavours inherent to the agave are preserved in the finished product. After fermentation, comes distillation which happens in handcrafted copper pot stills.

After smelling (and tasting) what The Rock has been cooking, we can confidently see why this tequila has been flying off shelves since landing in store. This tequila has everything; it is crisp and clean with a velvety finish. This tequila is the perfect ingredient to your favourite tequila-based cocktail and especially delicious with soda and a lime wedge.

We are especially partial to Teremana Tequila Blanco in a Paloma, so grab your grapefruit and give this summer cocktail a try:
