Laird's Blended Applejack

Since 1698 the Laird family has been making Applejack in New Jersey, which means the recipe predates American independence. With the first commercial transaction recorded in the family ledger in 1780, Laird's Applejack is one of the oldest (if not THE oldest) spirits in America. Some guy named George Washington was asking for a copy of the recipe as early as 1760! Wild.
Over the past 200 years the Laird family has adapted to changing consumer demands. They created this “Blended” Applejack category in 1972, which is a blend of apple brandy and neutral grain spirit intended to give a lighter, fresher version of the classic. We haven't been able to get our hands on Laird's Applejack for many years, so are super excited to offer it to all you cocktail aficionados again!
If you want to try a classic cocktail with this classic spirit, we recommend giving the Jack Rose a try. Like many classics, versions vary, but take a peek at Imbibe Magazine's version below.

2 oz Applejack
3/4 oz Grenadine
3/4 oz Lemon Juice
