Mollie Chapin This is not your uncle’s non-alcoholic beer! The folks behind Biere Sans Alcool are passionate about microbrewing and crafting beers that are packed with flavour. Each of their beers clocks in at around 0.5% ABV meaning they are the perfect way to enjoy a spring day without indulging too too much. Whether you’re going no alcohol, low alcohol, or less alcohol this spring, you’ll be happy to hear we have the full line up from BSA, a craft brand from Quebec that focuses on making refreshing, light beers for folks who want flavour without the brain fog. BSA has come out with four exciting styles for us to spend our summers sipping on. Their Blonde Pilsner is the perfect picnic companion, a Czech inspired beer with a bouquet of floral aromas and a seriously crispy fresh taste. Next up is their pair of sours that absolutely rule! One of Calgarians’ favourite summer beer trends has finally found an alcohol free option. Their classic Tropical Sour is full of island inspired flavours like mango and passionfruit, with a cereally finish. It reminds us of sour patch kids and gummy bears! Their Raspberry Sour is tart and has an unprocessed sincerity to it; it is chock full of ripe red fruit and juicy acidity. Finally, their IPA (a staff favourite) is the perfect balance of malt and hops, the use of Galaxy hops creates a tropicality that would be delicious with your favourite salty snack. The Smooth IPA has a subtle sweetness to it that rounds out the bitterness of the hops. All the BSA beers come in 473ml cans and are $3.95 a pop.
